Advanced Essentials of Post Processing

Deeper Dive.

If you’ve already taken our Fundamental Post Processing class, then this course is the perfect follow-up.In this class, we will delve deeper into the advanced features of Adobe Lightroom CC and show you how to take your post-processing skills to the next level.

Going Further.

In this class, you will learn more advanced techniques for editing and organizing your digital photographs, including addressing color problems, controlling colors, getting great looks with presets, sharpening images, fixing perspective issues, basic retouching and subject selection, copying edits to other photos, and adding metadata and captions.

Class Follow-up.

Upon completion of the class, you will be given a small post-processing assignment to complete and share with the rest of the class. You will have the opportunity to post your finished work to our exclusive Street Shots Online community, where you can share your images with the instructor and the rest of the class. This is a great opportunity to get feedback on your work and to see how your skills and knowledge have progressed throughout the course.

Class Requirements:

  • You must have a good working knowledge of your computer and how to navigate in the operating system and how to install apps.

  • Free or paid version of Lightroom CC (NOT Lightroom Classic) must already installed on your computer prior to class. You may also use Lightroom on your iPad or Smartphone since both desktop and mobile versions have the same features.

  • You can download a trial version Adobe Lightroom CC for free for 7 days but make sure it will still be active on the day of the class.

If you are new to using Lightroom CC, please take our Fundamentals of Post Processing class prior to registering for this one. This class assumes you already have some working knowledge of Lightroom CC.
