Do you want to take better photos with your new digital camera* but are overwhelmed by all the buttons and dials? This class is for you. Whether you're planning to wander the streets or fields, our class will help you navigate your camera and start taking great photos.

What you’ll learn.

This class is designed to help you get the most out of your DSLR or mirrorless camera. We'll cover essential camera settings like Exposure, Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Shooting Modes, and White Balance. We'll also touch on some basic Photographic Composition tips to help you strengthen your foundation in photography. By the end of the class, you'll have the knowledge you need to unlock the full potential of your digital camera.  

Class follow-up.

As part of the class, you'll complete a small photo assignment and share your results with the instructor and the class in our exclusive Street Shots Online community. This is a great opportunity to get feedback on your work and learn from your instructor and classmates.

* Please Note: This class only focuses on DSLR or Mirrorless digital cameras, not smartphones. Please consider taking our Fundamentals of Smartphone Photography class if your main camera is a smartphone. If you use a point & shoot-style digital  camera, some of the topics in this course may not apply.
